Lee is not simply a builder; he’s a craftman. Over two years, he renovated our entire stone-built house. He did beautiful lime pointing (inside and out) and lime plasterwork; knocked through walls to make doorways with exquisite oak lintels, created stunning window openings (including one using an old mill wheel he found in the garden); brought old wooden worktop back to life as window seats and sills; created a wonderful larder with a stone sill for butter; laid stone (and tile) floors… and that’s just a sample of the work he has done! The quality of his work is nothing short of outstanding. (We did have to share him at times with other jobs, but he was here most of the time, always communicated when he couldn’t be here; and was always a delight to have around.) We really couldn’t be happier with the result and would thoroughly recommend him.

We were very pleased to have had contact with Lee. All our dealings with him have been very positive. Initial communication was initiated by Lee and he has never let us down in his time keeping...when he says he'll meet you he means it. He certainly loves working with stone and we have asked him to do other work for us. We would always call on Lee for all our future stonework needs. The job he did for us is superb and we have had many positive comments from neighbours. He did all the ordering of materials and cleaned up so well after the job that you hardly realise there had been any work done!! Well done Lee..a true professional.

Lee worked on our Grade 2 listed barn conversion and was responsible for a range of refurbishments including rebuilding 2 very old sets of external steps, replacing the massive flagstones between the haycart doors and restoring a rickety old oak window. They were all done to a very high standard which is in line with Lee's conscientious and painstaking approach to his work. He is also good at finding solutions to tricky building situations and is keen to ensure everything looks good as well as working well.

Stone Wall Leaking Through Window Restoration & Refurbishment
Lee took on a job with a leaky window that no-one else seemed to want, and got straight to the issue. He knows his stuff, he's quiet, tidy and unobtrusive on site and I'll be using him for some more jobs. I'd recommend him wholeheartedly for any job.
